Welcome Short - our new Short Size and Shape.

We have added our new Short shape and size to our range of tram scrolls.  Short, as its name suggests, is shorter than our standard sizes and a little squatter.  The perfect size for squeezing into that small spot.  

Short also needs less destinations or words.  Our Short bus and tram scrolls are sized at 50 x 100cm and need only 8-10 destinations to look great.  And, of course, our short tram scroll are cheaper too.  Check out our short tram scroll prices.

As spotted in the film 'Monster in Law' with Jennifer Lopez, there are two prints, one features in their living room and the other in the kitchen - in the US our bus scrolls are referred to as subway signs. To  get your own custom subway sign designed and printed by us all we need is your chosen 10 - 15 destinations or words you want on you subway sign and we will email you a custom subway sign design print in just a few hours.  

Our subway sign prints are manufactured using high quality canvas, stretched over a frame and ready for you to hang.  We also ship our subway signs internationally, if an international delivery is required we can also send your subway sign print rolled in a tube for you to stretch at a local framer. 

Our subway sign prints are ready in just 4 days from final design approval, and you can change the design of your subway sign as often as you like until you are happy with the design. 

Based in Australia, we ship our subway signs all over Australia and internationally.  We also create our subway signs in custom sizes to suit your space.  If one of our standard sized subway signs does not suit your room, just give us your dimensions and we will create a personalised subway sign just for your space.

Introducing our new Clean Skin line - cheap bus scrolls without the cheap bus scroll look.

Our new Clean Skin line is a 100% synthetic canvas.  It has been introduced into our bus scroll line as a budget line.  Our Clean Skin bus scrolls look similar to our classic canvas line, they are coated in the same protective spray laminate to protect against UV but do not have the same texture and archive rating.

A ROC Canvas or Belgian Linen bus scroll print will last up to 100yrs with no fading.  There is currently no testing available for the archival rating of our Clean Skin line.  The blacks of our Clean Skin bus scrolls are sharp and as the fabric has limited texture the lines are clean.  

We have introduced this line due to customer demand for cheap bus scrolls that still looked fabulous.  Many of our bus scrolls and tram banners are given as gifts and therefore catering for individual budgets it important to us.  Customers can now get cheap bus scrolls and cheap tram banners that still look fabulous.  You still get a choice of either traditional or contemporary designs, with all bus scroll and tram banner designs designed by our in-house designer especially for you.

Station Paintings in Brisbane is the latest name for destinations banners, bus scrolls, tram banners…

Here at ROC Destinations + Scrolls we specialise in creating personalised ‘station paintings’ for our customers.  Although we don’t ‘paint’ our station paintings, we use a fine art printing process known as Giclee.   This means that we can print any design you would like and we are not restricted by letter stencils.  This means all our designs are unique, one of a kind.  

To order your very own ‘station painting’ please head to our order page.  We will then spend the next hour or so creating your design / s for you to choose from.  All station paintings (prints) will be ready in 4 days after design is approved.  You can change the design of your station painting as often as you like and no need to pay until you are happy with your design.

Bus Scrolls are back!

We are back from our Christmas break and have already been inundated with bus scrolls and tram scrolls orders.  As always, we are working to our standard 4 day turnaround with bus scrolls and tram scrolls designs often even finalised the same day.  

We would like to thank everyone for their best wishes in regards to the Brisbane flooding, we were lucky that we were not affected but do know of other businesses that were.

We have released our last orders for bus scrolls for Christmas dates.

Please see the table below for last bus scrolls and tram scrolls orders to your area.  If your area is not listed, please contact us and we will let you know  the last day for ordering bus scrolls in your area.

Last standard order is for bus scrolls ordered within our standard 4 day turnaround time.  This time is for orders with completed designs.  We email bus scrolls designs usually within 2 hrs, so a bus scrolls design can be finalised on the same day.

If you have left your bus scrolls order to the last minute, we do have a rush service.  With our rush serivice we charge an additional 15% and your bus scrolls will be ready in 24hrs.  Please remember that it is 24hrs from your bus scrolls design being finalised. 

Bus Scrolls and tram scrolls make a perfect personalised gift for Christmas.  We are currently taking order for Christmas and still working on our standard 4 day turnaround.   Bus scroll designs are often finalised the same day, even with changes to the design.  Please see our Christmas last day for orders page to make sure you get your bus scroll order in on time.

Destination banners are now available in Belgian Linen.  Our personalised destination banners have always been available in canvas and cotton, but we have now added Belgian Linen to our list of fabric media to choose from. 

We manufacture destination banners in canvas, cotton sheeting and Belgian linen - so what's the difference?

Canvas:  Canvas destination banners are the most popular choice.  The blacks are black and the colours are sharp, and because of its tight weave you get sharp lettering.  A canvas print has a lifespan of 100+ yrs.

Cotton: We also print our destination banners on cotton sheeting fabric.  This fabric has been specially treated to be used for fine-art reproduction.  With destination banners printed on cotton the colours will not be a vibrant and the black will appear softer and even a little charcoal.

Belgian Linen:  Like the cotton, the Belgian linen we use for our destination banners has been specially treated for use in fine art printing.   Destination banners printed on Belgian linen is truly gorgeous.  The linen has an organic warmth not found with canvas or cotton and the blacks are a warm charcoal.  The Belgian linen is a highly textured coarse weave which allows light to pass through, when hanging flush against the wall however this is not noticeable and does not effect the presentation of the print.  It also has a soft natural creamy yellow colour and is not bright white.  The linen is printed and spray coated with a protective varnish just like the canvas to give it a lifespan comparable to the canvas.
